Recent Song Addictions!

Hey!

I have recently been hooked on a few different song and I thought I would share them with you.

I was, for a while, addicted to nearly every song by The Strypes, one of my favourite bands.  Their second album, Little Victories, had more of a modern feel than the first and was very different, but very good too!  I was basically hooked on all of the songs from that album, but especially Eighty Four and A Good Night's Sleep and A Cab Fare Home.

Then I went through a phase of being addicted to The Lumineers' Flowers In Your Hair and played it over and over and over and consequently The Lumineers' self titled album is on my birthday list!

Now I am addicted to The Yawning Grave by Lord Huron! Such a good song, with beautiful lyrics. It is quite a simple song, but it is effectively so.  I bought Lord Huron's most recent album Strange Trails about a month ago and didn't really get into it until about a week ago and now I see just how amazing it is!

And so I leave you from my favourite verse of The Yawning Grave!

"I know the rain like the clouds know the sky,
I speak to birds and tell them where to fly,
I sing the songs that you hear on the breeze,
I write the names of the rocks and the trees..."

Thanken you!
L
